Welcome to the East Texas needs a CHL Team Blog
This Blog will function as a sort of website for grassroots efforts to secure a Central Hockey League team for the East Texas area. East Texas' population is growing, but it's amount of minor league sporting events sits at zero. A Central Hockey League team would be a fun and entertaining option for East Texans to enjoy. The CHL is a "AA" hockey league with teams in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Ohio.

With the surging popularity of hockey and no minor league sports teams of any kind between Dallas and Shreveport, East Texas is a prime location for a CHL team.
No doubt about it!
This is getting crazy. We need to get this done and over with. Everyone knows good ole ET needs a CHL Team!
